Raise awareness, guide, promote sustainable behaviors and habits. It is with these objectives that culture has taken the field to help create a new attention to the environment and to lead the people of Reggio Emilia to adopt more sustainable lifestyles. Because converting to a “green” world is also and above all a cultural question, which is part of the behavior of individuals.
For this reason, with the project "Sustainable Happiness: The festival Takes O2", four cultural associations of the city united in a network called Equipe O2 have given life to initiatives and shows in which to involve the public in one of the most urgent issues of our time, that of the environment in fact. Winners of the Shaping Fair Cities call promoted by the Municipality of Reggio with the E35 foundation, the four city associations - ICS / Spazio Gerra, MaMiMò / Teatro Piccolo Orologio, Casa d'Altri / Binario49, Phoresta - in collaboration with CAI Section of Reggio Emilia, Legambiente Reggio Emilia, Coop. Soc. San Giovanni Bosco, have developed communication and dissemination actions on environmental sustainability practices, with particular reference to the Sdg-Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda.
