Association MoST is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profitable organization, established in 1995, with the objective of improving the lives of children, youth, poor and homeless persons. Activities of MoST are focused on implementing local, regional, national, and international strategies against at-risk behavior, poverty, homelessness, and social exclusions.
One of their biggest achievements was the opening of the first shelter for homeless people in the City of Split. Also, they have opened a Social Supermarket Solidarity Split which represents an innovative model for poverty mitigation focused on homeless people and citizens living at risk of homelessness who can choose products then need without payment.
The City of Split has so far supported the work of the MoST association by co-financing various projects, and believes that their activities have contributed to the realization of many goals of sustainable development.
