The European Commission defines CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) as the responsibility of enterprises for their impact on society . According to the Commission, CSR is a concept according to which companies take into account the social and environmental issues of their business activities and in relations with partners.

Unfortunately, the research of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) confirms that 2/3 of representatives of companies from the MSME sector did not meet the concept of CSR. Despite this, the percentage of enterprises declaring that they will implement actions in line with the assumptions of this concept is high among them.

It is worth remembering that from January 1, 2017, the EU directive introduced the obligation of non-financial reporting; listed companies must provide information on activities related to corporate social responsibility, i.e. in the field of sustainable supply chain, which at this time will also indirectly cover small and medium-sized enterprises. That is why in Wielkopolska on the initiative of practitioners and people related to corporate social responsibility the CSR Res Server Foundation was established , whose main goal is to promote sustainable development and CSR.

On September 27-28, 2019, the Fourth 17 Responsible Film Festival took place. It also included National Specific Training, dedicated to local government units. Participants got to know Agenda 2030 in practice at workshops prepared by Aldona Kłobska and Joanna Skałuba from the CSR Res Sever Foundation.
