The overall goal of the project is to implement a set of cultural and communication initiatives that contribute to a critical and conscious understanding of what the UN Agenda 2030 is, what its goals are and how projects promoted at local level could meet these goals.

These initiatives will address all citizens of the city and young people, voluntary associations and companies, and will be implemented within 6 months.

The project foresees the following activities:

  • a series of public conferences (one on Purchasing Groups, one on Food Safety, one on the No Hate Speech Movement to counteract episodes of manifest hatred on the web and social media);
  • an installation of augmented reality viewers on the effects of climate change;
  • the creation of a "Living Library" with the involvement of immigrants and residents in the area to tell their history;
  • a participatory creation of a neighbourhood garden with all residents;
  • a musical concert using zero-impact instruments (e.g. built with fruit and vegetables);
  • some plogging initiatives (collection of waste while running, combination of the Swedish words 'plocka upp' - collecting and jogging);
  • a video/report of the various initiatives;
  • a city newspaper;
  • a podcast that allows you to listen to public lectures even delayed.
