Association Sunce was founded in 1998 by the group of Split intellectuals as a respond to the growing need of an independent and expert body that will offer solutions to environmental issues and nature.
Today Sunce is present at national and international level as one of the leading organizations for the protection of nature and environment in Croatia.
The City of Split has so far supported the work of the Sunce association by co-financing various projects, and believes that their activities have contributed to the realization of the goals of sustainable development, especially SDG13.
