The spinning halls in Vejle are one of Denmark's largest development and innovation environments. Here, creative entrepreneurs, established companies, knowledge and cultural institutions and the public sector meet. Together, we create growth and business development through networking and the use of each other's competencies. Vejle Municipality's team for Innovation & Entrepreneurship runs Spinderihallerne.

The spinning halls are located in a historic industrial building that forms the framework for a corporate environment with about 60 creative companies, a number of artists, associations, several cultural institutions and a municipal development team, which is also responsible for the daily operation of the house.

The 13,000 square meter building also houses meeting and workshop facilities, exhibition areas, a large Manufacturing Laboratory (FabLab) and a cozy café.

Spinderihallerne tells one of the most important stories about Vejle - namely about the transformation of Vejle as a small provincial market town into a thriving industrial city. With the reopening, which took place in 2010, Spinderihallerne continues to tell the story of Vejle's development, from industrial societies to experience and knowledge societies, where the machines have been replaced with creativity and good ideas.
